Program Purpose

The Legislature enacted the Employee Housing Act for the benefit of persons living in privately owned and operated employee housing to assure their health, safety and general welfare, and to provide them a decent living environment. The Act also provides protection for the general public which may be impacted by conditions in and around employee housing.
