Mobilehome Parks Program
Administrative Activities
- Monitors current legislation and develops and adopts regulations into the California Code of Regulations, Title 25, Division 1, Chapter 2. (See Authority)
- Issues annual Permits to Operate for all parks under the Department's enforcement--including, invoicing the parks, receiving and banking fees, completing and mailing permits, sending late-penalty letters, and maintaining records of all parks subject to the Act.
- Responds to written and telephone inquiries and concerns from representatives of legislators' offices; local enforcement agencies; contractors who install manufactured homes, mobilehomes, accessory structures and earthquake resistant bracing systems; mobilehome and recreational vehicle park owners; mobilehome park residents; mobilehome installers; and manufacturers of mobilehome equipment, such as earthquake resistant bracing systems and listed tiedown assemblies.
