Occupational Licensing Examination Locations

The OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING EXAMINATION STUDY GUIDE is revised annually and issued on January 1 and may be used as a resource in preparing for the Occupational Licensing Examination.

The Dealer Examination fee is $110.00 and the Salesperson Examination fee is $86.00. Copies of the STUDY GUIDE may be obtained online for free at: http://www.hcd.ca.gov/codes/ol, then find the link to the OL Study Guide or from the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) by writing to HCD, Occupational Licensing Section, P.O. Box 31, Sacramento, CA, 95812-0031. For each copy of the STUDY GUIDE requested include a $29.00 check or money order payable to HCD.
