OPEN Examinations

Effective May 25, 2010, both the Housing and Community Development Representative I and Housing and Community Development Representative II exams are being administered on-line at the State Personnel Board website on an open, continuous filing basis.

If you are interested in participating in this examination, please click on the link below, which will take you directly to the Job Recruitment Bulletin on the State Personnel Board’s website. The link to the exam is at the bottom of the Bulletin.

You can also access the exam from the SPB home page (www.spb.ca.gov): click on "State Jobs"; then the "How to Apply" tab; then "Exam Bulletins" to perform the search. Use the key word "Community" to find our exam.

Please note that you will be required to complete and attach an on-line State of California application (STD. 678) during the on-line examination process.

If you are successful in the examination, there is also an "E-Notify" function that will send you an email whenever a new vacancy is advertised.
