Chico Courtyards – Chico, CA

Chico Courtyards, located in Butte County, is a 4.61 acre site that has 5 2-story residential buildings with 76 total units. Each unit includes a balcony/patio and hook-ups for washers and dryers. There will be a 2,500 square foot playground with children’s play equipment, a swimming pool and barbeques and picnic areas. The recreation building will contain a community room, a computer learning center, an exercise area and laundry facilities. Shopping, major transportation and schools are within two miles of the project site. The units are restricted to families with incomes ranging from 30 to 60 percent of Area Median Income. The project was proposed by Roope, LLC., and was awarded by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (Department) $3,798,533 Multifamily Housing Program (MHP) funds.
