The Cove – GHI - The Association for Community Housing Solutions (TACHS)

The Cove Apartments project consists of the acquisition and rehabilitation of 20 apartment units which will house a tenant population which is chronically homeless with severe mental illness. The two-story building contains 12 studio units and 8 one-bedroom units. There is a laundry room and an existing swimming pool that will be removed to provide an open courtyard setting, space for an office, common walkways, and a new parking area. This application is a re-submittal of the original Hope Village project, which was submitted in April 2006 and June 2006. Since the last application submittal, Jewish Family Services, the original owner, has removed itself as a co-sponsor in order to allow TACHS to complete the development as an acquisition and rehabilitation project.
