Treasure Island Increases Affordable Housing

Star View Court provides 138 permanent affordable homes for people exiting homelessness and local residents on Treasure Island in San Francisco. The community was funded by almost $14 million from HCD’s Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities program, jointly administered by the California Strategic Growth Council. This development is part of the island’s anti-displacement efforts and part of the Treasure Island Master Plan, which will transform more than 400 acres into the site of 800 homes.
