Jennifer Seeger has served as Deputy Director of HCD’s Division of State Financial Assistance since 2020. In this role, Jennifer provides leadership and oversight of more than 20 state-funded affordable housing and community development loan and grant programs and ensures the long-term financial health, regulatory compliance, customer-focused service delivery, and operational efficiency of the Department's multifamily affordable housing portfolio.
Since joining HCD in 2003, she has held leadership roles throughout the organization, including serving as Assistant Deputy Director of the Department’s Division of Housing Policy Development. Throughout her career, Jennifer has led the design and implementation of innovative affordable housing initiatives, including the Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention, Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities, Homekey, and California Housing Accelerator programs.
Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and an undergraduate degree in International Business and Economics from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
