2025 Intervening Code Adoption Cycle
The 2025 Intervening Code Adoption Cycle results in the 2025 Intervening Code Supplement to Title 24. The 2025 Intervening Code Supplement will become effective on July 1, 2027.
Development of Proposed Building Standards
HCD has submitted proposed actions (code changes) that are intended for inclusion in the 2025 California Building Standards Code, Title 24, scheduled for publication in January 2027 with an effective date of July 2027. All proposed actions are subject to a 45-day public comment period.
